Undergraduate Rules for Admission

Rules for Admission to First (Bachelors) Degree

Please note: Computer Literacy(CPL0521/0621) must be taken by all students registered in the School. The module can be taken anytime from the first semester of the first year up to and including the last semester of the final year of study.  

Undergraduate admission
Candidates registering for BAGRIC; BAGBM; BFECS; B.Sc(Agr); B.Sc (FOR);and B.Sc (FST) must obtain the matriculation certificate of the committee of the University Principals  or a Certificate of Exemption granted by the committee.
Candidates for B.Sc programmes should have at least an E(HG) or D(SG) in Mathematics, Physical Science and a pass in either Biology or Agricultural Science while student registering for BAGRIC degrees should have at least an F(HG) or E(SG) in Mathematics and a pass in either Biology or Agricultural science.

Students who registered for BAGRIC or BABGM degree and who intend to convert to B.Sc (AGR) or B.Sc (FST) or B.Sc (FOR) degree may do so on condition that they acquire B.Sc(AGR) status by completing a bridging  module.
