Prof HN Mutshaeni has been in higher education since 2006 and has risen through the ranks to the current Directorship position. Prior to this, she was HOD of Academic Development Unit, HoD of the Department of Curriculum Studies and Education Management, Senior lecturer and lecturer in the School of Education.
Her areas of research are Teaching and Learning, Curriculum Development, assessment and academic development. She has supervised 10 Doctoral Students to completion, 20 masters and a number of honours Students.

Ms. N.P. Lavhelani has worked for the University of Venda since 1994 in various capacities. Initially she was appointed as clerk and secretary in the Legal Aid Clinic, School of Law; she was then appointed as Chief Admin Officer in the Centre for Higher Education Teaching and Learning, where she is currently stationed. Her current responsibilities, amongst others, are to provide administrative support to the Director of CHETL, assisting with planning within the directorate as well as other units within the Centre. She is responsible for the management and supervision of administrative staff within the Centre. Her passionate research interest is on performance management, teaching and learning and related matters.

Mrs. Mpande Mmboniseni

Mrs Mpande’s responsibility is to assist in the office of the Director. This include manaaging calendars of the Director ,arranging meetings, taking minutes, making travel arrangements, maintaining filing system, messenger and Receptionist Services.
