  • Es'kia Mphahlele's Afrikan Humanism (2008), a monograph published by Stainbank & Associates, Johannesburg.
  • All religions can be marred by intrusive Satanism, yet no religion is inherently Satanist (2008 February 7), published in The Podium newspaper.
  • Completed NRF-funded research project (registration no. 06/ENG/04) and submitted report through the University of Venda (2007, September 17), entitled The indigenous Art of Rainmaking among the Mamaala Clan in the Mokopane Area of Limpopo, South Africa.

  • Completed research and submitted report on The Development, Protection and Promotion of Provincial Identity, Culture and Character Regarding Multilingualism as a Criterion. Towards a Satisfactory TV Local Content, in hearings hosted by ICASA in Cape Town on 8 May 2001.
  • Ke Ithuta Polelo (2000), a series of outcomes-based language books in North Sotho for Grades 4 - 6, published by Shuter and Shooter, Pietermaritzburg and approved for school use by DoE.
  • Completed research and presented a report on National Literary Museums and Language Development Centres (in collaboration with Prof C.T. Msimang), for the Minister of Arts, Culture, Science and Technology, Pretoria, 23 April 2001.
  • Tshekaseko (1994), a N. Sotho Grade 12 literature study guide, published by Bard Publishers and approved for school use by DoE.

  • Presented a paper entitled Publish or Perish at a workshop of the University of Venda held on 16-17 August 2007.
  • Presented a paper entitled At the Heart of African Rainmaking at the Southern African Folklore Society conference on 29 August 2007.
  • Presented a paper entitled The Intersection of Experience, Imaginative Writing and Meaning Making in Es'kia Mphahlele for a Human Sciences Research Council  lecture on 26 October 2007.
  • Panel Member, The Cost of the Culture of Learning conference held in Cape Town, 2004.
  • Conceptualised, organized and managed a national conference on the state of previously marginalized   languages since 1994, Johannesburg, 2002.
  • Co-presented a paper entitled Business versus Language Rights on South African Television at a conference in Berlin, Germany on 5 December 2002.
  • Co-presented (with Dr J-L Kruger) a paper entitled Subtitling, Literacy and Education in South  Africa: Putting Audiovisiual Media to Work in the Classroom at a conference in Berlin , Germany on 5 December 2002.
  • Researched and compiled a report on South African Television from a Multilingual Perspective - with a View to Regional Television, for the Communications Minister's Bop TV & Channel Africa Restructuring Task Team, Johannesburg , 10 July 2002.
  • Presented a paper, Managing the Promotion of the African Languages, at the international conference hosted by the University of Pretoria Hammanskraal Campus, 4 July 2002 .
  • Presented a paper, Actualisation of the PanSALB Act, 1995 Amended 1999, with Regard to the  Promotion of Multilingualism and Removal of Past Imbalances on the Literary Scene, in a conference hosted by the National Arts Council, University of Pretoria, 21 June 2002.
  • Delivered a paper, The Information Scene as Empowerment and a Tool for Equality, hosted by the  Library Association of South Africa, at Phalaborwa, 6 June 2002.
  • Presented a paper, Interacting with Radio, TV and Print Media to Promote Children's Literature Using PanSALB Capacity and Structures, hosted by the Polokwane Library and Unisa's Children's Literature Research Unit, Polokwane, 23 April 2001.
