2. Post Graduate Diploma in Gender Studies (Pg. Dip. GS)
1. Admission Requirements
Minimum qualification is an undergraduate degree. The Academic Board of the Centre for Gender Studies may consider a working experience as an alternative admission criteria.
2. Curriculum
The programme consists of four modules. Two modules in the first semester are compulsory and any two modules in the second semester.

3. Honours Degree in Gender Studies (Hons. GS)
1. Admission Requirements
Minimum qualification is an undergraduate degree with an average of at least 60% pass mark for any third year level modules.

The curriculum is composed of six modules. Three of these are compulsory.

An Honours Degree in Gender Studies from UNIVEN or any other recognized university. Other qualifications will be evaluated accordingly.

5. Doctoral Degree in Gender Studies (PhD GS) (GSD 7000)
A doctoral degree in gender studies is to be awarded on the basis of a thesis only. An approved proposal will be presented to the academic committee of the Centre for Gender and Youth Studies for the scrutiny and guidance to the student. The Centre will arrange participation by PhD students in national and international Seminars.
Two internal examiners (supervisors) and one external examiner shall mark the doctoral thesis. Each of the examiners shall comment on the work in writing, and give a clear breakdown on how they arrive at the final mark.
There shall be a public defense of the thesis organized by the Centre for Gender and Youth Studies.
