Department of Mercantile Law

Mrs Letuka is the Head of Department of Mercantile Law.

Mrs Letuka’s academic career spans more than ten years. This career started at the National University of Lesotho. She has also been a Socio-legal researcher for Women and Law Research and Education Trust an organisation that was dealing with research and advocacy on gender, human rights and the law. She has various publications mostly in the area of gender and the law and in children’s rights. The research and publications are in the areas of child labour, inheritance and property rights of women, maintenance, family belonging and related issues.
