Prof. Vukor-Quarshie

Prof. Vukor-Quarshie, a Ghanaian, is the Head of the Department of Jurisprudence.

He is a graduate of the University of Ghana, Legon, where he obtained the LL.B and LL.M degrees. He went on to obtain a second LL.M and the SJD degrees from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia, USA.  He also possesses the B.L. professional degree from the Ghana School of Law and is a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Ghana.

Before coming to UNIVEN Prof. Vukor-Quarshie taught at the ff. Universities: Obafemi Awolowo University, Oyo State, Nigeria; Phillips University of Marburg, Savigny Haus, Marburg, Germany; University of Essex, Colchester, UK, and University of Swaziland.

His teaching interests include generic Criminal Law, Comparative Criminal Law, International Criminal Law, Advanced Criminal Law, Private International Law, Mercantile Law, Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Delict, Jurisprudence, Medical Law and Mercantile Law. He belongs to the ff. professional bodies;Ghana Bar Association, Association International de Droit Pénal, the African Law Association and the Commonwealth Lawyers Association.

His hobbies are basketball, tennis and scrabble. By the way, he is crazy about the Gunners.
