Our mission
The Department of Public and Development Administration provides personnel mainly for the public service on all levels. The basic function of the Department is to train, educate, develop and equip students on undergraduate and post graduate level as well as to provide assistance to members of the community in which it operates.

Our mandate
Our mandate is to teach, to do research and to be at the service of the community in which we operate. Our mandate is closely aligned with that of the university, namely to be responsive to fulfill the development needs of communities in the region by using appropriate learning technologies and research.
