Programmes

The following programmes are offered by the Department of Biological Sciences:

  • Aquatic Biology: For carrers in water resource management
  • Conservation Biology: For careers in biological conservation and ecotourism.
  • Biological Sciences: For careers that require a general biological background and careers in teaching. It is recommended that pre-med students follow this programme with a combination of modules required by the medical school of choice.
  • Ethno-biology : For careers in Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Technology.
  • Social Biology : For careers in the Social Ecology field.
