Honours Programme Modules

Prerequisite

An average of 60% in Physics third year modules or its equivalent gained elsewhere with sufficient mathematics background. In marginal cases, additional selection criteria will be used to admit a student into honours programme.

Duration

The Honours programme extends over a period of one year of full-time study or a period of two years of part-time study. The Department offers honours programme in solar energy and in theoretical physics. In order to qualify for the degree a student must pass at least eight modules. The core modules and optional modules offered in an academic year vary depending on the staffing situation in the department. The students are advised to consult the head of the department about the modules offered for different specialization.
