Please carefully read the Terms of reference to get familiar with the eligibility criteria and the application process.
The French South Africa Agricultural Institute will finance successful projects with funding to a maximum of R40 000.00. Projects which demonstrate sustainability and food security impact in the community will be prioritized.
Who can apply?
Applicants for the Micro-projects funding must meet the eligibility criteria defined in detail in the terms of reference. Applicants must be in communities near the University of Fort Hare, University of Limpopo and University of Venda. Proposed projects must align with the following cross-cutting issues: Food security, poverty reduction, agricultural development and creation of employment.
- Eastern Cape (University of Fort Hare)
- Limpopo (University of Limpopo and University of Venda)
- Private companies including start-ups (small and micro enterprises)
