DESCRIPTION:The Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Dr Bernard Nthambeleni, cordially invites you to attend the official opening ceremony for the 2020 academic year. The official opening of the academic year marks the commencement of the new year of the University of Venda.\nThis ceremony is intended for all students and staff (academics, administrative and service staff) of the University.  The 2020 official opening ceremony will take place on Thursday, 06 February 2020 at 10h00 at the University Auditorium.\nDuring the official opening, the Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Dr Nthambeleni, will handover awards to students with outstanding performance as part of the Vice-Chancellor’s Student Academic Excellence Awards.\nYour presence and participation in such important University function is crucial towards building a culture of ownership in the strategic direction of our institution.\n\nAcademic staff should assemble in the A1 Lecture hall at 09h30 for the academic procession. \n\nKind regards.\nDr T V Dzaga – APR\nDirector Communications & Marketing\n3/02 /2020\n
