Research Interests
I specialize in synthetic and natural product research on local medicinal plants for the treatment of TB, malaria, diabetes, etc. I am also interested in advancing my knowledge in green chemistry and waste valorization. I have attended and presented our research at several local and international conferences and successfully trained several postgraduate students at honours (18), master's (10), and PhD (2) levels to completion. I have published numerous peer-reviewed research publications in peer-reviewed journals. I am also committed to advancing chemical education and contributing to the scientific community through active participation in professional organizations, journal reviewing, and conference presentations.
