When Dr Molebowe Frans Kgaloshi embarked on his PhD in Economics at the University of Venda in January 2024, he set out to investigate a complex question at the intersection of the green economy, green industrialisation and renewable energy. Two years later, he emerged with a doctoral degree and a powerful story about the role of eff ective supervision, institutional support, perseverance and determination in turning an ambitious academic goal into reality.
