The University of Venda (UNIVEN) was represented at the 2026 Mine Health and Safety Tripartite Summit by Professor Lindiwe Zungu, Director of both the Occupational Health and Safety in Mining (OHSMIN) Research Institute and the SAMRC-funded Digital Health and Artifi cial Intelligence for Occupational Health in the Mining Sector (DHAIOH) Extramural Unit, who attended on behalf of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
