BRIEFING MEETING FOR NRF CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR 2022/23

DSI/NRF Research Development Grants for New Generation of Academics Programme (nGAP) Scholars

On 15 March 2022, the NRF announced the Call for Proposals for 2022/23, including the closed call for Research Development Grants for nGAP Scholars for funding for the 2022 academic year. All Framework and Funding and Application Guide documents as well as the General Application Guide, are available on the NRF website at https://www.nrf.ac.za/nrf-for-researchers/funding/.Applications must be submitted electronically on the NRF Connect Platform at https://nrfconnect.nrf.ac.za/.

The NRF will be hosting a virtual briefing meeting on the Zoom platform, focusing on the application requirements and, on the application and review process for this funding opportunity. Questions may be posed in real-time during the meeting using the chat box on the Zoom platform. The target audience for the briefing meeting are:

Research Directors;
Institutional Designated Authorities (DAs);
nGAP Mentors; and
nGAP Scholars that were invited to submit an application in this call.

The information meeting will take place on 31 March 2022 from 10:00 to12:00
