Discretionary Funding

The funding provided by ISFAP is made available through the contributions of various donors in the public and private sector. ISFAP will provide funding opportunities to first year undergraduate students in 2022, but does not guarantee funding for all applicants.

Successful applicants will receive a funding package that includes tuition, accommodation, study material, a monthly stipend and meals as well as student support and an on campus ISFAP programme manager.

Criteria for eligibility may include:

Academic achievement and acceptance into the ISFAP partner university of your choice for the relevant degree programme
Donor requirements
First degrees starting in 2023
Funding availability

Applications

An online application form needs to be completed in full and the requisite supporting documentation provided/uploaded by qualifying students. Applications without the supporting documents uploaded will not be considered.

The applications will be added to a database which will be used to pair qualifying students that match donor/ISFAP criteria. ISFAP will keep applicants informed of the status of their application.

Mandatory Documents needed to complete the Application

Certified ID Copy of the Applicant
Certified Copy of Latest Academic Results (Grade 11 or Matric)
Certified Proof of Income
Signed Consent Form (Applicant and Household Contributors) certified by Commissioner of Oaths
