The ITS User Group conference took place at Cape Town. Delegates from different universities within the African continent and Ireland using the ITS Integrator system are gathered at this conference to network, benchmark and share ideas and knowledge on integration and automation of systems.
Ms. Tebogo Thantsa HOD : Systems Operations
University of Venda was invited to present and share their experience of migrating from Integrator 3 to 4.1. Ms. Tebogo Thantsa HOD : Systems Operations delivered a fruitful presentation on behalf of the university where she shared the experience with other universities. In her presentation she also acknowledged the support of the team members who took part in the project especially the users of the system. She kept on emphasizing on the importance of business units taking ownership of systems and making sure they utilize them optimally in order to benefit and get value for money, a lesson she learnt from DVC : Operations and Director : ICT.
