Dr Tumelo Sekgobela is a Lecturer in the Department of Social Work. He has worked for over three years in the higher education sector and thirteen years in the public service as a Social Worker and Probation Officer. His specialties are the resilience of social workers and Bullying. He has successfully supervised over 30 honors students over the years, is currently supervising Master of Social Work students, and has been an external examiner since 2022. Dr Sekgobela has published over seven papers in peer-reviewed accredited journals.
