Mr. N.J. Budeli is Lecturer at the Department of Social Work, in the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education (FHSSE). He served as a fieldwork coordinator since he joined the University of Venda in 2009, until 2017.His social work profession areas of interest are social work supervision, employee health and wellness and clinical social work. He is currently serving as an external supervisor for fieldwork placement of final year student social workers at UNISA.  He has 12 years’ experience of teaching and learning in higher education. His teaching areas of interest and specialization include philosophy and ethics in social work, social casework and social groupwork. He has supervised student research projects at under-graduate level in the department of social work and co-supervised at postgraduate level in sociology. He is also currently co-supervising Master of Social Work student. Mr. Budeli is passionate about student’s fieldwork and his contribution to scholarship has been through research projects and publications. Her recent works includes:
