Mr. Seane Mabitsela is a lecturer in the Department of Human Sciences in the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education. He has worked for over 10 years in the higher education sector, and more than 10 years in other various research institutions in and outside South Africa. His specialises in history, but also has other areas of interests such as politics, defence and security, heritage and culture, democracy and social justice. Seane has supervised at the Honours and Masters level. He has published various reports outside the higher education sector and presented conference papers the last of which was on the topic: Political Party Systems and Democratization in South Africa, 1994- 2009.
