Overview

The Postgraduate Students Research Webinar aims at developing research skill sets critical to conducting independent and original research by our postgraduate students in the School of Law. Specifically, it is expected to teach the School of Law’s postgraduate candidates’ basic knowledge in research and enable robust contribution to scholarship to make the process of writing dissertations and theses a more enjoyable and rewarding learning experience.

The Webinar will cover topics such as legal research, writing research proposal; plagiarism; research methods; theoretical and conceptual framework, assessing legal resources; referencing styles/citations, literature review, using technology to enhance academic research and use of library.
