The GIS Certificate Course is an introductory course to the theory and practice of a Geographic Information System. The aim of the course is to in- troduce students, researchers, surveyors, town planners, Local government authorities, farmers, health practitioners and NGOs to computer assisted spatial analysis and decision making. REQUIREMENTS
All applicants should be proficient in a Microsoft Windows environment, and should also be familiar with applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel is helpful, but is not a prerequisite. In order to apply for the course, no formal tertiary education is required
