International Business students on Exchange programme to Germany

The University of Venda in partnership with the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), Heidenheim, Germany are in joint student exchange programme for a 3-month period. Two students from the Department of Business Management Mr Jim Letladi Mafa and Ms Litzeldah Matsa who are in their honours level are the first beneficiaries of the programme.

The students are awarded Baden Württemberg stipendium scholarship which covers flight, accommodation, health insurance, monthly stipend up to €1000. The students will have the opportunity to register for modules in DHBW and transfer their credits to UNIVEN as stipulated in the joint credit transfer policy of the University. UNIVEN has an existing MoU with the DHBW, Germany which covers the area of student exchange. The programme was advertised on the
University website and the selection process was undertaken by the Directorate of International Relations and the School of Management Sciences. The students were very appreciative of the opportunity provided by the University for their academic development. The students departed for Germany on 24 June 2018 and will be expected to return on 15 September 2018.
