Faculty Supervisor Workshop at Bela-Bela, Warmbath.
The Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education will be hosting Supervisor Workshop at Warmbaths Forever Resort- Bela Bela, from the 12th to 17th September 2021. This workshop aims to equip supervisors with necessary skills on how to supervise postgraduate students to completion within the stipulated duration of their residency in the programme. Supervisors will further learn about various approaches to the supervision of postgraduate research students; potential challenges that can arise during candidature and strategies for effective supervision. The workshop will also focus on the cycle of postgraduate studies from recruitment to assessment; postgraduate processes and practice, ethics, supervisor-supervisee relationships models of supervision, appointment of supervisors and many other related supervision topics.
