UNIVEN Choir on the stage during Mapungubwe Choral Festival
Music lovers recently gathered at the prestigious Mapungubwe Choral Festival where the University of Venda (UNIVEN) Choir delivered an unforgettable performance. This event was held under the Limpopo Province, Department of Sport Arts and Culture. UNIVEN Choir, led by Dr Meisie Madzivhandila as the Choir Director supported by Mr Dimakatso Sebata showcased their talent and dedication. The festival is renowned for promoting choral music and highlighting both established and emerging choirs. The UNIVEN Choir’s participation was a testament to their commitment to excellence and innovation in music. Their performance was praised for its freshness and energy, earning them accolades from adjudicators. Its outstanding contribution was acknowledged with a certificate of appreciation.
