Mr. Hasani Freddy Chauke is a lecturer in the Department of English, Media Studies, and Linguistics at the University of Venda. With over 20 years of teaching experience in higher education, he has developed a wealth of knowledge in his areas of expertise. In 2023, he joined the University of Venda, where he teaches various Media Studies modules that examine the complexities of media in contemporary society. His research interests focus on the interplay between media and society, particularly how media shapes cultural narratives and public discourse. Additionally, he is passionate about preserving and promoting indigenous languages and exploring their role in media representation and societal communication. Mr. Chauke aims to foster a deeper understanding of these critical areas through his work, contributing to a richer academic dialogue within his department and beyond.
